I started out on the telecine – long format has been part of my DNA since day one. Twenty years of commercials trained what you have to learn there: precision down to the last pixel, pace, and calm in a full grading room.

Advertising taught me precision and speed. Film demands dramaturgy and consistency across 90 minutes. My work lives on both.

Grading sessions with client, director and DoP in the room are part of my everyday work – as is the quiet night shift getting a 45-minute piece to air on time.
